This petition wishes to see the swift repeal of the NDAA under the understandings that it violates the constitution in the following manner:
1. It violates the 5th amendment, "No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury"
2. It violates our 14th amendment rights, which guarantees all Americans equal protection under the law.
It allows Americans who are deemed "terrorists" to be detained/executed with ought trial, and could be used in the future as a means to preserve government activity despite the will of the people, in the case of economic instability, or bad policy refused by U.S citizens.
Immediately repeal this bill or change unlawful provisions on behalf of our will, United States citizens.
