Every day, millions of American children sit down in their school cafeteria for breakfast and lunch.
Sadly, for too many of these kids, these two meals are the only meals they get. Also, forcing children to take a fruit or they may not eat balances out to millions of taxpayer dollars wasted.
The new guidelines of the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act shrink the size of breakfast and lunch down significantly, leaving kids hungry a few hours later. As I said, these are the only meals some kids get.
As a result, I petition the Obama administration to remove the guidelines on school meals placed into effect by the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act.
