The National Firearms Act (NFA)and the Hughes Amendment to the Firearm Owner Protection Act create classes of firearms which are, for all practical purposes, banned for purchase by law-abiding citizens.
While not an outright ban, these laws seek to make it proceduraly and financially difficult for American's to own and enjoy firearms such as machine guns, short barreled rifles (SBR) and shotguns (SBS) and supressors
The de facto ban is wholly unconstitutional and does nothing to prevent violent crime. Only law-abiding citizens are unlawfully disarmed by this act.
We the people call for an immediate repeal of the National Firearms Act and the Hughes Amendment as well as for the restoration of liberty that such repeals would grant.
