The No Child Left Behind Act, while created with good intentions, has had a tremendous negative impact on education in America. It requires teachers to "teach to the test," unfairly burdens schools that have large populations of immigrant or disabled students, and has cost millions of dollars without much to show in results. It is my belief that NCLB has done more harm than good and should be abolished.
