Repeal No Child Left Behind

Created by S.M. on January 31, 2013

In 2002 President George W. Bush signed the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB), As it has been in effect for over a decade, there is evidence that suggest that NCLB has not improved our education system, but has made it worse.

NCLB main goal was to increase the academic performance in the U.S, and it was supposed to lower achievement gaps. It has just done the opposite, acedemic performances have not increased but decreased, and has not lowerd achivement gaps.

The Unitd States ranked 18th in the world in math, and by 2009 we have ranked 31st in the world.

NCLB has damaged education in the United States and shall end as the educational law of the United States
