Repeal non profit status for Professional Sports such as National Football League (NFL) National Hockey League (NHL)

Created by M.G. on September 09, 2015

Professional sporting leagues are currently exempt from paying taxes as they are classified as a non profit. The NFL has income of over 9 billion dollars a year. Top executives from these non profit organizations make millions of yearly income. The tax payers build stadiums for these not for profit groups, yet the poor cannot afford to go to a game. It's time for a change, update the IRS requirements to exclude Professional Teams.
