Repeal the observance of "Columbus Day".

Created by R.J. on September 02, 2014

Repeal the law that made the second Monday of October a federal holiday called "Columbus Day". There is no reason other than the Knights of Columbus' desire to have a Catholic hero, to honor Columbus. He never set foot on the North American continent, and he committed atrocities among the indigenous peoples of the West Indies.
