History: the week after 9/11, Congress passed a bill called the Authorization to Use Military Force, which authorized President Bush to send forces in to ANY country that had a connection to 9/11 attacks. This is still the law that Obama and his administration cite to authorize drone strike bombing in Yemen, and anywhere else in the world. Now there is discussion to make this bill permenent.
These nightly drone strikes carried out by JSOC must stop, innocent civilians are being killed; pregnant women, children, and babies. By these actions, we are raising up the very terrorists that that the President put on his "kill lists", which has grown exponentially.
This AUMF has no oversight, and no accountability and must come to and end.
