Work to repeal the unconstitutional Patriot Act.
The Patriot Act contains wanton violations of the Fourth Amendment, including roving wiretaps, National Security Letters used in lieu of legitimate warrants, and numerous other provisions that infringe on our rights to privacy.
This legislation was passed amid a whirlwind of fear-mongering and serves no purpose but to continue a gradual encroachment upon our freedoms. I ask that the current Administration recognize (admit) this and work to restore our Fourth Amendment rights.
