Repeal the Patriot Act

Created by J.R. on June 07, 2013

To protect out private phone-line and on-line information from government probing, we the people want to repeal The USA PATRIOT Act because we believe that the government must have just cause for violating an American's privacy before doing so. We believe that a judge-given warrant should always be necessary to approve the gathering of information on a specific person suspected of a crime, and that spying on the American people as a group should always be unacceptable. That spying includes information gathering from our phone lines, mail boxes, and internet lines and data obtained from private companies like Verizon and Microsoft. Due to repeated privacy concerns and repeated threats of infringement on our personal liberties, we the people want the USA PATRIOT Act repealed.
