This bill violates the Bill of Rights. The government doesn't have to show that records of a subject is related to criminal activity. Also, the government doesn't have to tell you they conducted a search. Although there are other points on why this bill should be repealed, i will finish up with this last point. The government can spy on you just for reading a certain book or criticizing the government. These are my reasons on why the Patriot Act should be illegal
