Prevent powerful government from violating fourth amendment rights. The government should not be allowed to wire tap anyone without probable cause. Drones should not be permitted to fly over our airspace to spy over civilians who have done nothing wrong. The Patriot act gives law enforcement too much power and is turning our nation into a police state. The United States currently has 5% of the global population and 25% of the worlds inmate population, with the highest incarceration rate in the world. The Patriot Act was designed to prevent terrorism, but in itself is an act of terrorism, causing mass paranoia of terrorist attack from the middle east, and thus is terrorizing this nation. It must be repealed.
