The Patriot act takes away civil freedoms and liberties from American Citizens. It violates the constitution by stripping away the first, fourth, fifth, sixth, eighth, and thirteenth amendments. This act is highly unconstitutional and it must repealed.
The Patriot act violates the constitution by:
1. Being wiretapped with no specific warrant.
2. The State can monitor reading habits of Americans
3. Giving a suspected terrorist no right to fair trail.
4. Being searched with no warrant
5. Cruel and unusual punishment to suspected terrorists.
6. Punishment without conviction to suspected terrorists.
