Repeal the Patriot Act. It takes away the basic rights of American citizens and creates a police state.

The government passing the Patriot Act takes away the rights of American citizens and allows the government to label common citizens with inflammatory ideas as "Domestic Terrorists." It is unfair to the people of the great country to be black-bagged and detained indefinitely with no fair trial. This bill was passed and expanded out of fear and not out of common sense. It creates a police state and hurts our freedoms written out in the Bill of Rights. Taking it down through the judicial system is time consuming and easily prevented by powers in the government with their ability to declare a citizen as a domestic terrorist. It prevents the citizens from keeping control of the government and denies our right to revolt against a tyrannical government.
