repeal the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act of 2006 H.R. 6407 [109th Congress]

The Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act proves, everyday, to be the source of the downfall of the U.S. Postal Service. Removing the language of the act from law would relieve the Postal Service of financial obligations which have caused the death spiral that the Postal Service is stuck in today. It has been proven that without the mandates contained in the act, the Postal Service would still be as financially stable as it was prior to 2006. By removing the act, the Postal Service would no longer need to or have justification to "restructure" its mail processing and transportation networks. This would save hundreds of thousands of jobs, including the largest number of Veterans employed by anyone in the U.S. Repealing it also protects a Service established by the U.S. Constitution.
