Current laws regarding the production of personal amounts of distilled alcohol have stunted innovation and small-business growth. Those wishing to establish a start-up or explore the age-old art of craft distilling are crushed under a mountain of regulatory paperwork and unnecessary licensing requirements. The public has been force-fed dogmatic myths and horror stories of "moonshiners" going blind from poisoning or dying from exploding stills. These stories are exaggerated propaganda further fueling the proliferation of fear and misinformation . We wish to completely reform the industry, allowing freer exploration of this craft, responsible education, and enabling the establishment of a more dynamic, more productive, more responsible craft brewing and craft distilling community.
