The purpose of this petition is to repeal the prohibition of firearms and ammunition ownership to felons as per the 1968GCA... This has been a handicap to persons who have for whatever reason served they're time and been reformed for at least say 10 years, providing they can prove good citizenship and have no further convictions or mental disability issues that would impede sound judgement..
For far too long govt. has dictated who may, and may not own what is guaranteed to all citizens as per US constitution
veterans, ex police and others have been adversely affected by this draconian and unconstitutional law.
REPEAL it and/ or amend it now!
