Repeal sanctions on Zimbabwe (ZDERA). Stop Meddling in Africa while US Economy is burning! Sanctions hurt the vulnerable

Created by M.M. on January 12, 2013

The Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Act (S. 494) or ZDERA in short is an act passed by the United States Congress sanctioned to provide for a transition to democracy and to promote economic recovery in Zimbabwe. Ironically, this act is now one of the stumbling blocks denying Zimbabwe full economic recovery and political reconciliation.

The opposition parties in Zimbabwe are all against these measures. Morgan Tsvangirai, and Tendai Biti, senior opposition figures, are on record saying sanctions do not save anyone.

So if ZDERA was meant to protect the people of Zimbabwe, who don't like it, what is USA trying to achieve?

Stop undermining African efforts to solving African problems! AU and SADC can solve Zimbabwe's problems way better while you concentrate on solving your own!
