The California Senate has recently approved the Senate Constitution Amendment Number 5 also known as SCA 5. This amendment would repeal any provisions from Proposition 209 which would allow state government institutions to discriminate against or grant preferential treatment to any individual or group depending on sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin in the operation of public employment, education and contracting. Thanks to Prop 209 California became a diversified place for many people to succeed in, and now thanks to SCA 5 we will return to the days of segregation.
The 14th Amendment of the US Constitution clearly states that no state shall deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of its laws. The SCA 5 is racist and in violation of the US Constitution
