repeal the Second Amendment. 2013 is not 1791. Allow Congress to freely regulate the ownership of guns and weapons.

My petition is to encourage the admin to pursue the repeal of the Second Amendment to the Constitution 1791, to allow the govt to deal with the reality of 2013 - not every American should have unfettered access to all firearms. Constitutional Amendments are not immortal - both the 18th & 23rd were repealed... this administration should go for broke now on the gun problem in this country. Stop pick and choosing on each gun... just say no - no one needs auto or semi-auto. Citizens can't own grenades, so why should this amendment be used to say they can own other military-grade munitions??? Seize the Newtown moment to fix the gun problem -this is the chance to do so.
