Initiate the process to repeal the second amendment.
The harm done by firearms in the hands of civilians in the United States far outweighs any benefit that could be gained by possessing them. The constitution should not guarantee the right of civilians to own firearms.
Repealing the second amendment would remove one argument commonly used to block legislation that limits the weapons civilians may own.
It would be a good thing if legislation could prevent private ownership of all weapons except for long hunting guns.
