It is time to stop the gun madness. Schools are shooting galleries, cities war zones and street unsafe from gun-toting vigilantes cowering behind "Stand-Your Ground" laws. We are the only industrialized nation that allows private ownership of virtually anything that has a trigger. There is no real need for a citizenry armed to the teeth (and concealed). The Second Amendment addressed the needs of the 18th century; this country should join the 21st century.
