The 2nd Amendment is no longer necessary for state defense, and it prevents reasonable gun control measures that the majority of Americans support. We cannot simply wring our hands in the face of continued mass killings in this country. The 2nd amendment is an obstacle to a life free of unreasonable risk of violence, and the American people deserve better. The time for repeal is now.
