We petition the president to introduce a constitutional amendment repealing the Second Amendment.
We call for the replacement of that amendment with one that bans personal ownership of handguns and assault rifles, puts strict controls on the sale of shotguns and rifles, imposes strict control on the sale of ammunition and other gun supplies and accessories and imposes strict medical, psychological, criminal background and gun safety training requirements on gun ownership.
Gun ownership should no longer be a right, it should be a privilege, revokable for cause.
