With no risk of tyranny, it is time to look at the second amendment as a part of our past, just as slavery was. We need to move past this archaic amendment and view the constitution as a fluid document that can change the fit the times. Removing this amendment will save lives, increase the feeling of safety for everyone, and bring us more in line with other developed countries that have much lower murder rates.
