We petition to repeal the second amendment under these clauses.
We ask that incapacitation be the standard for self defense. As such, we request that tools such as pepper spray, tasers, and stun guns as well as any future provably non-lethal tools be allowed to be carried openly and concealed in all public places.
We request a buy-back take place for all semi-automatic and automatic firearms. They should be recycled and resold to assist funding the buyback. After the buyback, ownership should be a felony.
We request that hunting firearms be registered and restricted in terms of transport to prevent accidental discharge and only on your person when hunting or traveling to/from.
We request shooting ranges to only use non-lethal rounds, require proof of ID and secure firearms to site.
