this petition will repeal the second amendment and call for everybody who owns a gun (excluding law enforcement officials) to return their guns to the proper government agencies. Guns are no longer valid in this day and age as they were when the amendment was originally passed. This country is no longer defending itself from invading forces such as the British, french, and Indians on a daily basis. The majority of Americans do not have to hunt for their food. Times have changed and too many Americans are being punished for the government's failure to realize the need to change.
