Repeal the Second Amendment to the Constitution

The original intent of the Second Amendment bears no relation to its current implementation. Instead, the firearms industry makes a killing (sic) hiding behind the Amendment to sell high technology weapons our Founding Fathers could not conceive. The Gun Lobby is beholden to the Gun Industry, and works against the safety and security of all Americans, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women, and children over the years.
We request the repeal of the Second Amendment so it can no longer be misused to sell weapons whose primary purpose is the slaughter of humans. We further request the implementation of a nationwide buy-back program for assault weapons. We support training and certification for the responsible use of non-assault recreational firearms.
