We ask President Obama and the government to review the Second Amendment of the Constitution as to how it applies to our modern times as it is sorely outdated and only relevant to a time that existed several hundred years ago. Like most modern and developed countries, we no longer have a use to "keep and bear arms". An amendment to the US Constitution should be passed with the following criteria:
-Possession of firearms to be restricted to the military and law enforcement agencies.
-Citizens who rely on hunting for sustenance must apply for a special use permit, may only have one weapon, must have it under lock and key or face criminal penalties.
-All current privately owned weapons, ammunition & equipment to be surrendered to law enforcement or face criminal charges.
