Repeal the section of The Public Health Cigarette Act stating the ban on tobacco advertisement.

Created by L.F. on November 16, 2012

The petiton states that the section in The Public Health Cigarette Smoking Act of the banishment of tobacco advertisements be repealed. Because the fact that alcohol is allowed to advertise, it is just as harmful, it should allow tobacco to start advertising again. Tobacco is a way of life for many Rural and Urban Communities. Therefore the ban on advertisements for the sale of tobacco is restricting a persons rightful "pursuit of happiness" in surviving in todays world. Tobacco is harmful, true as it may be, but it has a right to advertise. As with Fast Food, Weapons, and Alcohol.
