Sovereign immunity, the notion that government entities are immune from suit and which is rooted in the English doctrine that the "king could do no wrong," is a threat to America's national security. It is a threat to America's national security because it eliminates the powerful regulatory force of the American people from holding their government and its officials accountable for grave injustices and crimes against the American people. In so doing, it opens the door for rampant corruption, malfeasance, and the enslavement of the American people in that it allows the government to completely disregard the promises and benefits that the government has made to its people which form the authority from which the American government derives its power. It undermines what it is to be American.
