Certain laws have allowed media conglomerates to control everything we see and hear. We request that these laws be repealed to allow for better radio and television. When a city has 15 radio stations and every single one of them is owned by clear channel, it presents a problem. The news coverage is not balance or diverse. The kickbacks from recording labels becomes higher, and some great artists are never played on the air because of this. There have been incidents where songs are banned nation-wide and artists as well. (Dixie Chicks comes to mind). Repeal these laws for the betterment of the people.
