repeal travel restrictions for American Citizens. For example Cuba. As an American, I should be FREE to travel anywhere

Created by J.S. on January 05, 2013

As an American I take offense to my government restricting my right to travel wherever I want, whenever I want.
This is unconstitutional. Restrictions are in place for Cuba, Libya, Iraq, and North Korea. A good example is Cuba. It is understood that the trade embargo against Cuba is meant to diminish the power of the current regime; however, freedom of travel as an American citizen should be a fundamental freedom at their own risk. If an American would like to to learn more about the Cuban culture and music first hand, they should be FREE to do so. Lift the travel restriction for Americans and keep Americans free.
