On October 1st, 2013 the state of Connecticut implemented a new "ammunition certificate" law. Under the law every citizen must apply for a certificate which costs $35 to legally purchase any type of ammunition. This law blatantly goes against our 2nd amendment rights. People may think this is a non issue, only $35 some might say. The issue is some people cannot afford to spend $35 on a piece of paper that simply allows them to do what they've been doing forever, buy ammunition to hunt and protect their families. This goes beyond gun rights, it goes beyond CT, who is stopping this unconstitutional law from being enacted in your state? This law will create criminals out of citizens. My fellow Americans please help your brethren in CT, sign this petition to help preserve our rights!
