The very idea of continuing to give
the Federal government power to invade the privacy of any person WITHOUT a warrant runs roughshod over the Bill of Rights.
Supposedly, the Patriot Act was put in place to protect Americans from terrorist attacks. I do not agree to exchange a sense of security for my constitutional rights.
By continuing to grant unfettered Federal intrusion powers, the Patriot Act tramples the Bill of Rights into the dust.
I firmly believe that the repeal of the Patriot Act is supported by the vast majority of Americans regardless of political affiliation, and ask the Obama administration to make repeal of the Patriot Act a top priority.
