Repeal the Uniform Monday Holiday Act.

As a history major, I find the Uniform Monday Holiday Act which was enacted in 1968 as degrading to holidays in general. I appeal to the President to reinstate the federal holidays to there appropriate date instead of the current act of moving the dates to Mondays to give employees long weekends. This is demeaning to the history of the holiday and needs to be accurate. The following holidays which should be on the appropriate day fixed include.
Martin Luther King Jr Day- January 15th annually.
Washington's Birthday- February 22nd annually. ( Contrary to mainstream belief congress nor the President ever changed the name to "Presidents' Day" and undermines an important figure to our countries founding.)
Memorial Day- May 30 annually.
Columbus Day- October 12th annually.
