Repeal unreasonable and unconstitutional gun laws

Created by C.L. on June 20, 2016

Gun control as a means to reduce violence is unrealistic and unconstitutional. Firearms are nothing more than a tool and implying they cause violence is ignoring the perpetrators role and overlooking his/her motivation, as they say where there is a will there is a way. The 2nd Amendment was not put in place for hunting or recreational purposes but to resist the possibility of tyranny, a check and balance system. A perfect example of unconstitutional gun laws is California where assault weapons are banned despite being used in about 1% of gun related crimes.
