Repeal the US Patriot Act. The misleading Bush-Era law is intrusive, unnecessary, costly AND unconstitutional law

Created by A.H. on February 28, 2014

This bill was emotionally passed very shortly after the tragic 9/11 events. While we all decent human beings value efforts to prevent terrorism, the Patriot act is a direct violation of our fourth amendment rights. Examples of 4th amendment violation range from spying on citizen phone conversations without a warrant to monitoring our reading habits at the library. The law also unnecessarily burdens commerce in this country with reporting of financial transactions. Thank President Bush everytime you are inconvenienced for a copy of your driver's license.
