The USA PATRIOT Act oversteps the governments authority as outlined in the Constitution. The Patriot Act violates Americans 1st and 4th amendment rights. It gives the President far greater power. The FBI can easily obtain records that they should have no right to have and they can also conduct sneak-and-peek searches. The Founding Fathers would not have supported wire-taps and spying on its own citizens. For this reason we demand the USA PATRIOT Act be repealed. In the words of Benjamin Franklin, "Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
