Repeal the Vessel Monitoring Systems on commercial fishing boats as this is a blatant violation of 4th amendment rights.

Created by A.M. on April 27, 2013

Vessel Monitoring systems are tracking devices that are placed on commercial fishing vessels that fish in US waters. It is used to send the vessels locations every 15 minutes to technicians on land to ensure that we do not break the law. This is a violation to our 4th amendment rights. I am asking President Obama to overrule the Department of Commerce and sign into law that the Vessel Monitoring Systems are against the law and should be removed from all vessels that are required by NOAA Fisheries to have them.
