This is one of the most rediculous laws passed by Congress. It's only being used by vengeful ex's to obtain free income from their spouses who signed on the dotted line, to put their lives on the line to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. The portion of the retirement we pay cannot even be claimed on federal income taxes as alimony for deductions. We feel this law discriminates against retired military members and petition to have this unjust law repealed or reformed.
