Repel the 1975 US copyright act.

I petition the US government to repel the US Copyright Extension Act of 1975 and instead change Copyright limits to 26 years after publication, a time period which can be renewed. If it has already been 52 years since a piece of art being made, it is out of copyright. If it has been more than 24, but lees than 52 years since it was made, assume it was renewed at the 24 year time. I am making this petition because Copyright has been increasing over the last 200 years and I am afraid if we don't stop it now, we may find 1984's Oceania becoming a reality.
