The EB1-C green card is abused as a loop hole by very low skilled managers in Indian outsourcing companies as a quick way to get their green card without waiting in the 6 year backlog for EB2.
This is anti-immigrant.
A software engineer from Google or a top technology company has to wait for 6 years to get his green card in EB2, while an employee with very less skills in and Indian IT offshoring company portrays himself as a manager managing 20 people (most of which are fresh college graduates at offshore) and gets his green card within 6 months.
Can we please fix this loophole asap? It deters top engineers from countries across the world (including India and China) from coming into this country and increases the people who have very less skills (relatively speaking) to come here.
