I respectfully request that the President: continue to allow Americans to import,life-sustaining prescription drugs from safe international online pharmacies. I urge the administration to delay rule-making regarding Section 708 of the bill, which gives government agencies the authority to seize and destroy safe, imported medications. Such low value shipments are clearly personal prescription drug orders. This regulation is not only unfair, it endangers public health since a million people each year rely on safe drug importation to access the medicine they need at prices they can afford.
