In light of the recent tragedy in Conneticut, we the people implore you to repeal the Gun-free School Zone act of 1990. If only a law abiding citizen was able to defend the students there would have been less casualties! Do not leave our children in a environment where criminals KNOW they are unprotected! Criminals do not follow the laws, creating laws to control guns only hinders the law abiding citizens and leaves criminals knowing that they have the upper hand. Look at how well outlawing drugs worked. Drugs are still readily available. Do we want criminals and under staffed police forces to be the only armed citizen?
