Replace 75% of all U.S. energy with renewable resources by 2013

The United States has developed an unhealthy reliance on non-renewable energy resources over the past 100 years, and this has no sign of changing. More recently, republicans have believed that coal, oil, and natural gas must be taken advantage of now more than ever. However, these resources are getting harder, and more expensive to find. If the U.S replaces 50% of these resources with renewable ones, we will see a cleaner planet, and even a stronger economy from the investments. Once we are able to use these resources, we can set an example for other countries to change their ways as well. With this set in motion, we would have avoided realizing our fate too late, and the planet all together would be a better place to live for every single person on Earth.
