AG Eric Holder took an oak to defend and support the United States Constitution, many times throughout his career. Despite this Oath, as U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Eric Holder stated that gun owners should be made to feel ashamed, as we have made cigarette smokers feel ashamed.
Mr. Holder took an oath to defend the Constitution of America. This includes the 2nd Amendment. Despite this, he made this speech, and others, detailing a plan to change public opinion in the attempt to subvert said Constitution. His statement clearly shows that he does not believe it's the Constitution that protects Gun Ownership in America, but public opinion.
Such a person, with such a belief, that can then take an oath to defend the Constitution, is not fit to hold office.
