We would like to eradicate the population of white-tailed deer in the lower 48 states and replace each and every deer with a kangaroo. This will greatly benefit society culturally and economically, not to mention Kangaroo meat is delicious and could help prevent obesity.
We propose moving all the deer to Alaska. Alaska would not mind - Alaska has a lot of empty space, plus deer make great food for the endangered Grizzly Bear and the Moose.
We all enjoy looking at the occasional deer, but frankly, Kangaroos would provide a tourist attraction for those of us who are too poor to travel to Australia. Plus they are good fighters and can travel at speeds of up to 31 mph. Also, a dearth of deer will practically end the sale of deer antler spray since Kangaroos don't have antlers yet.
