Replace Andrew Jackson's portrait on the $20 bill with one of Henry Clay.

Created by J.F. on February 28, 2013

Andrew Jackson does not deserve to reside on our Twenty Dollar Bill alongside presidents like George Washing and Abraham Lincoln or founding fathers Alexander Hamilton and Benjamin Franklin. Andrew Jackson was a raciest and only added another chapter of brutal treatment to the saga of our countries wrongdoings towards Native Americans. He destroyed the National bank in favor of pet banks that led to an economic collapse and also worked with the spoils system.

Henry Clay rather, was a true American in all sense of the word. A nationalist at heart, he envision an America completely self sufficient from our European cousins. He worked enormously hard to see that dream come true. He did so out of love of his country, never for love of himself unlike the raciest, monarchical, arrogant Jackson.
