In order to set an example for the nation and the world that we are acting to protect our children's future, consider replacing the presidential state car, Cadillac One aka "The Beast," with a more environmentally friendly option. With much of the details about Cadillac One classified for obvious security reasons, the one detail about fuel efficiency is disappointing. Getting approximately 8 MPG is horribly inefficient and uneconomical. We can do better.

Back in 2009, when Cadillac One was first introduced, there was not a mass produced electric vehicle in the US. Now there are dozens of plug-in models and over 350,000 plug-in vehicles on US roads. Many of these vehicles are outperforming their internal combustion engine counterparts. Might I suggest a "Tesla One" presidential state car?
